High Quality 3D Printing

3D Printing, or additive manufacturing, is creating a whole new world for design engineers. It is ideal for rapidly creating functional prototypes and end-use parts.

Here at Multi Design we use the latest in design and 3D printing materials to quickly build parts in a range of flexible plastics and other fused materials. The benefits of 3D printing include:

  • Quick production of a prototype to assist with business planning and funding
  • Get to market faster with full size or scaled prototypes of your product
  • Time saving and cost saving to create fully functional 3D models

Pre-production parts

3D printing is not limited to prototypes and has many applications. It provides the flexibility to start production without the need for expensive tooling for manufacturing. We can provide accurate and industrial grade repeatable 3D printed pre-production parts in a batch size to suit your exacting requirements.

Materials - Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

The UK has signed up to an initiative called Net Zero with the objective to be a carbon zero country by 2050. As a result, there will be a demand for composite materials which are more sustainable to produce.

We use advanced polymers and composites for our modelling. They are sustainable, cost effective and flexible to shape and mould.

Some of the infused materials we use include:

  • PLA
  • ABS
  • PC
  • Nylon
  • Glass
  • Carbon Fibre
